Started in 2001 by Scott Lavergne, Enterprise Data Concepts, LLC has continued to grow every year. We improve our technical skills by adding staff and gaining experience from our testing and live implementation.

Originally a Microsoft only shop, we expanded our capabilities to include Apple products in 2003. When we were faced with clients needing VPN tunnels and firewalls, we added Cisco routers, ASAs and switches to our skill set. Our staff is continuously training and testing on new products and maintaining our existing partner certifications.

We continued to offer the latest tools and services to our customers. We move forward dedicated to serve the Acadiana region's businesses with the same level of quality and efficiency we were founded with.

	Scott Lavergne - Founder & CEO Scott started working in the IT field in 1997. Upon graduation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1999 with a degree in Computer Science, he opened his first computer consulting firm Datastream Inc. with a partner. In 2001 he left Datastream and started EDC as the sole owner. By 2010 he has grown EDC from a small office with one employee to 10 employees with an office 10 times the size. Computers have always been an interest of his, starting with a Commodore 64 and BASIC programming, and continually keeping up the latest changes in technology. In his personal time, he is active in the Rotary Club if Lafayette since 2003, and has coordinated the Election Day Food Drive, and is currently the Chair of the Attendance Committee and the Webpage Committee. He is also active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving on the district board, as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 446, and Cubmaster of Pack 446. He has been married for 13 years and has two sons.
	Troy Brannon - V.P. Operations Troy Joined EDC in July of 2006 and has worked in the IT field for 12 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management and several industry certifications. Troy is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Comptia A+ certified technician, HP Accredited Platform Specialist, and a member of the I.G.A. Prior to his employment with EDC Troy worked as a field engineer supporting medical, law enforcement, military, and legal fields. Troy has been married for 18 years and has a 16 year old Daughter. He is an active member of his church parish, assistant coach of his daughter's basketball team, and works closely with Acadiana's Promise, an organization that specializes in keeping homeless families together as the find permanent housing, In his spare time Troy enjoys, golfing, fishing, camping, backpacking, carpentry, and planning his next trip to Disney World.
	Melissa Duhon - V.P. Administration Melissa joined the EDC Team in March of 2010. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While at ULL she was a member of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi the National Honors Fraternity for Financial Information Professions, and was the President of the ULL Accounting Society. Prior to her employment at EDC, she worked as the Assistant Controller for a blood plasma company with more than 30 locations nationwide. She is also recognized as a Notary Public by the Louisiana Secretary of State. Melissa has been married 16 years.
	Alvin Noel - Consultant Alvin joined EDC in 2004 after graduating from Lafayette's Louisiana Technical College with top honors. He chose to pursue a career in IT because he has found great satisfaction in working with computers. Alvin is A+ certified and well versed in Microsoft Small Business server, Blackberry Server, and OS X Server. During his time at EDC he has worked with specialized systems like Calyx Point, Abacus, Prolaw, and Summation. Alvin has been active in the Lafayette community including volunteering at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center and other community service organizations. He is married and has three children.
	Jacques Gonsoulin - Consultant Jacques Joined EDC in June of 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at UL Lafayette. He joined with skill in networking, databases, C++, and Visual Basic programming languages. He works with networking and server installation and management. He is an A+ and N+ certified technician, and is working on becoming a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Jacques enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and wife, traveling, playing video games, watching movies, and reading books.
	Jessica Wenk - Consultant Jessica joined EDC in October 2010 and began her career in the IT industry in 1999. She comes to EDC with a specialization in Microsoft Sql Databases and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. She is a Comptia A+ Certified technician and is currently pursuing her Microsoft certification for SQL 2008. Her interest in the IT field began while serving in the United States Air Force for 5 years. While in the Air Force she deployed to Kuwait and Qatar in support of Operations Southern Watch , Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Jessica has been married for 9 years and has 3 daughters.
	Joshua Fontenot - Consultant Josh has been working in the IT industry since 2001 and holds Microsoft certifications in Windows client and server operating systems as well as network and directory services certifications. He is well versed in many business technologies, such as Backup Exec, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) support and Microsoft Dynamics. When not working, he finds satisfaction by playing music, fishing, and constructing radio controlled aircraft. Josh can often be found spending his weekends caring for a handicapped relative and spending time with his family.
	Willis Carron - Consultant Willis joined EDC in February of 2011 and has 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN technologies. He earned his Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification in 2003 while attending Blue Cliff College, and later earned the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP®), and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP®) certifications. Willis is well versed in Networks, VPN, Circuits, and server technologies. Prior to his arrival at EDC Willis worked as a Network Engineer in charge of deploying more than 1000 Digital Billboards nationwide, and Network Administrator serving 300 locations and over 7,000 employees. Outside of the office Willis enjoys bowling, billiards, and fishing. He is married and has 2 children.
	Jamie Gondron - Consultant Jamie joined EDC in May of 2011 with a passion for computers and the people who use them. His interest in the IT field began as a child, taking apart computers to see what was inside, and sometimes putting them back together properly. Working at Pack and Paddle for seven years taught him a great deal about connecting with clients in a personal, small business atmosphere. He is EDC's Labtech administrator, is Websense certified and is pursuing his A+ certification. Jamie has been married for four years, and has two daughters and a son. In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, video games, disc golf and teaching his children to love nature and be computer geeks.
	Travis LeJeune - Consultant Travis joined EDC in September of 2011. He has had a passion for technology since before high school, leading him to pursue a career in the IT industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which he acquired in 2009. He is currently a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Comptia A+, and Comptia Network+ Certified Technician. He has 8 years of experience in customer service, ranging from retail services to corporate IT services. Both he and his wife are natives of Louisiana, both originally from New Iberia. In his personal time, Travis enjoys collecting and shooting firearms, bass fishing, outdoor activities, video gaming, and spending time with family and friends.
