Cost Control

Outsourced IT allows you to have technicians on staff only when you need work completed. This enables you to have a flexible IT expense that can be increased or decreased as needed. For most small and medium sized businesses, being able to budget and schedule technicians saves a significant amount of money compared to full or part time employees. We have experience in working with all sizes of companies and different budgets. You can work with our management staff to make sure that our services fit your needs and your price.

Expert Knowledge

Using outsourced IT gives you the option of multiple technicians and their collective knowledge. We have a staff with over 40 years of technology experience. This wide range of education and implementation experience would be rare or even impossible to find in a single full time technician. Outsourcing is the only way for small businesses to have a similar IT department resources of large companies.

Greater Resources

EDC currently employs 7 full time technicians. Most companies will never need 7 technicians at once, but if a project that is larger than normal, you have the benefit of getting as many technicians as needed to complete the job in a timely manner. Also, because we pull from a team, if you have more than one project or problem, we can work on them simultaneously. These are benefits that are great to have, but not worth the extra expense if you were hiring in-house technicians.

Reduced Management

The greatest benefit your management staff will see in using outsourced IT as opposed to in-house technicians is the amount of time spent overseeing the work. Most of your management staff are not IT professionals, and when using EDC as a complete IT service provider they don't have to be. We have a full administrative staff that manages the technicians and your entire IT infastructure. We are avaliable for meetings to plan your entire network, and we're avaliable for advice at any time. We don'tcharge for calls made that last less than 15 minutes, or calls made for advice in regard to hardware purchases. We know how important planning can be for projects and office efficiency, and we can be your IT experts throughout the entire process.
